SunSuite
at Journal Square
About this space
Welcome to SunSuite — a beautifully renovated 2-bedroom retreat where refined luxury meets effortless urban living in the heart of Journal Square.
The space earns its name from the moment you step inside. Warm natural light pours through the sunroom — a tranquil haven furnished with rattan seating, lush greenery, and chic decor — creating the perfect spot to lounge with a book, catch up on work, or simply decompress after a day in the city. It's the kind of room that makes you forget you're two blocks from a PATH station.
Two elegant bedrooms offer real privacy and comfort, each dressed in luxurious linens with room-darkening shades and ample storage. The master suite is the highlight: an ensuite bathroom featuring a spa-style rain shower that turns a Tuesday night into a mini retreat.
The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, a Keurig coffee machine, and everything you need to cook or just get the morning started right. A dedicated workdesk, 55" Roku Smart TV, complimentary high-speed Verizon Fios internet (300 Mbps), and a curated collection of board games round out a space designed equally for relaxation and productivity.
For couples, business travelers, or anyone who wants space without excess, SunSuite gets the balance exactly right.
And the location couldn't be better: Journal Square PATH is just a 6-minute walk. You'll be at the World Trade Center in under 30 minutes, door to door — no car required. Newark Airport is 12 minutes away. India Square, Lincoln Park, and JSQ's best dining are all steps from the front door.

Location & Getting Around
Good design
I stayed at this beautiful house for 3 weeks with my wife and 10 month old daughter. The place is safe and comfortable. The listing and photos accurately describe the property. Zara is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. The place is 8 min walk to the path station. There a ton of food options close by. Thanks Zara! Loved the stay
The apartment was very nice; it looked like the pictures, feels newly renovated with nice rooms and felt homely and clean. Location wise (which, let's face it, is very important here) the Airbnb is very close to the PATH train into NYC; which was extremely convenient. You get on at Journal Station and can take it directly to 33rd Street or WTC. If you are driving and need to park, save yourself the time of finding a) a spot on the street and b) a spot on the street that doesn't require a permit or has strict hours and park in the parking garage one street down. It might cost you some money but is easier to find and feels safer than parking on the street. Definitely recommend this place if you don't want to stay in Manhattan but still want to feel like you're staying somewhere nice!
Such a lovely home. The design + decoration of the space was absolutely gorgeous - the most aesthetically pleasing Air BnB I've ever seen or stayed in. It's a super quick walk / short Uber to the PATH train station which will take you right into lower Manhattan (The World Trade Center). Zara was incredibly kind + responsive. It's the perfect place to stay if you don't want to be surrounded by all of the hustle of NYC but still want to visit. If you have a physical disability the walk up to the apartment may be challenging but my family and I were fine with the steps. Loved it - would (and likely will) stay here again!
Guest Access
The entire 2nd floor apartment is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay — no shared spaces, no interruptions. Entry is contact-free via smart lock; your personal access code and step-by-step check-in instructions will be sent before arrival.
